You're All Booked... Now What?
Here are some general guidelines for what to do once you're traveling. While I would love to be available 24/7 for any in-destination issues, time differences and other factors sometimes make that difficult. This is why I partner with suppliers who offer 24-hour traveler support lines. You will find all of this information in your official travel documents. These support lines are a great resource for quick, time-sensitive questions—such as locating your transfer driver.

Hotel Issues
If you experience any issues with your hotel room—such as cleanliness concerns or maintenance problems—your first step should be to speak directly with hotel staff. They have the greatest ability to make immediate changes for you.
If the issue is major, please notify me as soon as possible after addressing it at the hotel level.
Important: Do not check out or leave the hotel without contacting me first. Hotels rarely offer refunds unless they determine the situation warrants one, and I must confirm the details with them before you depart. Please gather as much evidence as possible, such as photos and the names of the hotel staff you spoke with. This documentation is very helpful. Note that refunds for voluntarily forfeited hotel reservations cannot be guaranteed.
Air Travel
Airlines operate independently from the suppliers I use to book tickets. Because of this, flight schedules, delays, and cancellations are entirely at the airline’s discretion.
If an issue arises with your flight, please contact both me and the supplier immediately. I will work with the supplier to clarify what the airline has decided. However, all decisions related to refunds, rebooking, or compensation are ultimately made by the airline, and I cannot guarantee any refunds—even if an airline representative states one verbally.

In general, travel hiccups are sometimes unavoidable. My best advice is to be prepared, be patient, and stay informed. The more you know ahead of time—and the calmer you remain during unexpected situations—the easier it will be to navigate any challenges that arise.
